Super 8 by Wyndham Mt Hope Hamilton Intl Arpt ON

I got extremely sick and missed my flight, in my distressed fever state I accidently booked a room for the next week when I was looking for a place to stay. The front desk lady fixed my reservation and got me a room right away and the cool dark room was perfect to get enough rest a day before traveling on.

The price was affordable given that we booked last minute. The place is a bit old and needs some renovation or upgrade but overall it was clean. The staff were nice and accommodating, the location was accessible as well.

Everything is fine. It's not luxury but its affordable, you get what you pay for. I've definitely stayed in worse. It's quiet so you don't have to worry about people pulling the fire alarm in the middle of the night. My baby cried on the first 2 nights because he isn't used to being away from home but guests and staff didn't seem to mind.

This is a 5 star hotel.....if the overall rating is out of 100. From the numerous stains on the floors, to the falling apart furniture in the rooms, we were honestly afraid to even put our suitcases down on the floor in the room. If it hadn't been for the fact that it was 2am and we were all extremely tired, we would have left. This place needs a fire to burn it to the ground, so maybe they can use the insurance money to build something nicer. Sorry, I really hate giving bad reviews, but there is no justification for a hotel being as gross as this one was.

I had to go just outside of Hamilton for a job. My wife found this location and went online to book a room. The young man behind the front desk greeted us warmly. I later found out his name was Ash. The service was kind curtious and friendly. I had a very restful sleep and was ready for the next day at work. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch as well. When you enter your greeted like you matter and not just like a number. Thank you Ash and all the cleaners and other staff who made our stay very pleasant. I would highly recommend staying here and will do so again. Super 8 is super great!

Unreal stay! Based on reviews we were slightly hesitant but needed a safe haven away from home for the weekend and Super 8 did not disappoint! Staff was amazing on arrival and our 1 out of 2 activated keycards opened our presidential suite with ease. Make sure you bring Fido! Our Great Dane enjoyed the pull out sofa bed immensely and we felt zero judgment walking the halls with our friendly 130 lbs companion. Room was large with 2 double beds. One was much more soft and comfortable than the other so it made for much fun with our overly competitive family of 4. Free bottled water between 6am and 10am! Complimentary breakfast consisted of mini muffins and the granola bars so soft they melted in your mouth like butter! While we were busy hitting dingers on the baseball field a wonderful lady cleaned up our room with exceptional attention to detail, bless her heart. 4.95 out of 5 stars simply because the potholes in parking lot reminded us more of black diamond moguls at the ski resort. We will return! Loved every minute and have inquired about becoming club members.

I rate this highly because the staff was really great. The rooms are clean and it's away from the city. The cool thing that they really need to capitalize on is that it's old and hasn't been updated since the 1970s. If you like super modern hotels, you probably won't like this place. But if you look past that, you'll see that it's got potential to play on the retro theme. The breakfast bar needs work, but there are some decent food options right up the street.

We just stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The housekeeping and front desk staff were all great. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
